Waited 40 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. Food was fine once it came.
Forty minutes past your reservation isn't the night we plan for. That's on our host stand, not you. Give us another shot, and dinner's on us.

Northwestern Medill Spiegel Research Center (2017) ↗One loop: listen, analyze, act.
Every review runs through the same three steps. You stay in control of everything that goes out.
- 01Listen
She's typing before she's at her car.
HearBack's already reading it. Every Google and Yelp review, from every location, comes in the moment it's posted. You don't have to go check a dashboard.
- 02Analyze
One review is an opinion. A hundred is a pattern.
Each one is marked happy or unhappy and tagged by what it's about (wait time, food, staff), then rolled into a plain-English report: what's trending, what's slipping, and two or three things worth fixing this month.
- 03Act
A reply is drafted the same day. A regular gets a reason to come back.
Responses draft themselves in your voice. Anything touching a refund, a health concern, or a threat gets flagged for you first. Meanwhile, customers who've drifted get an honest nudge to come back, once you've read it, no strings attached.
That's the loop. Every visit feeds the next one, and that's the real difference between a review tool and a growth loop.
Everything in one place. Nothing sent without you.
Four things that make the daily review routine faster and safer.
New reviews
The reply matters more than the speed.
Generic apologies read as generic. HearBack drafts from how your business actually talks, then flags anything too risky to post automatically.
Answer every review. Win back every regular.
Got one location or five, there's a plan for you — and Team and Growth let you dial in the exact price for how many you've got.
Nothing goes out without your OK first — every reply, every message.

What changes versus doing it yourself
No invented numbers here — just what's actually different day to day.
| Task | On your own | With HearBack |
|---|---|---|
| Watching for new reviews | Checking Google and Yelp separately, for every location, whenever you remember to. | Every location's new reviews pulled in automatically as they come in. |
| Replying | Writing each reply yourself, or letting many go unanswered. | A reply drafted in your brand voice for every review — you approve or edit before anything posts. |
| Spotting what customers keep mentioning | Skimming star ratings and hoping a pattern jumps out. | Sentiment and topic trends laid out in a plain-English report. |
| Bringing lapsed customers back | Remembering who hasn't been back, if you track it at all. | Win-back outreach sent automatically to customers who have gone quiet. |
| What goes out under your name | Whatever you personally have time to review. | Nothing is ever posted or sent without your explicit approval. |
Running more than 5 locations?

Questions, answered.
The things owners ask before they start.
Does HearBack post replies for me?
Not on its own. HearBack drafts each reply in your voice and flags the risky ones, and you read, edit and approve. Every reply and every win-back email waits for your approval.
Is this AI?
Yes. AI reads each review and drafts a reply from your brand notes. You always read, edit and approve it before anything is posted.
Will I be able to let easy replies go out automatically?
That is the plan. You will be able to choose which kinds of reviews qualify, like a five-star review with a kind comment. Anything that looks risky, such as a refund demand or a health complaint, will still wait for you. It will stay off until you turn it on.
Which review sites does it cover?
Google Business Profile and Yelp. Yelp only lets tools like ours see a business's three most recent reviews, so connecting Google gives you the fullest picture.
How does the free trial work?
Free for your first 7 days on one location. Cancel anytime, no contract.
What does win-back cost?
It is included in the Team and Growth plans, and available on Solo as a $19/month add-on.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Download everything HearBack holds for your account as a file you can keep, or delete your account, from Settings at any time. Deleting also cancels any paid subscription.
